Preparing for a
New World

The world is becoming increasingly complex and dynamic. New technologies, cultural diversity, and global interconnection are posing ever-greater challenges to the education system. As a young mentor, I have a strong understanding of these modern developments, having grown up surrounded by digital media and current trends. I understand the demands that today’s society places on young people. A multitude of digital distractions, an outdated school system, global upheavals — never has it been more important to mentally adapt to one’s environment. With a broad understanding of both the digital and the analogue world and their history, I can best prepare your child for an uncertain future.

A Lifelong Companion

Imagine having had a mentor by your side since childhood, accompanying you through every stage of life. Someone you can always turn to when facing difficult questions or challenges. A mentor who doesn’t hand you ready-made solutions, but firmly believes that you have the capacity to find the answers within yourself. This ideal of an encouraging and reflective mentor is what I embody.

In doing so, I deliberately avoid patronising or lecturing. Instead, I focus on collaboration, individual development, and an always open ear — for every one of my students, for life.

I accompany your child through all phases of life, always available as a reliable partner.

The Method

Depending on your child’s age and level of knowledge, I begin at a suitable starting point to promote their holistic education. Your child should learn to understand the motivations of others without being influenced in their own convictions.
To give you an initial overview of the content covered, here is a brief summary of the areas in which I can fill the gaps left by the school system:

Fostering Mental Flexibility
  1. Age-appropriate introduction to philosophical theories (with practical relevance)
  2. Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of conventions in historical context
  3. Teaching how worldviews are formed and how to facilitate changes in one’s own worldview
  4. Introduction to psychological principles
    1. Cognitive biases
    2. Observation / perspective / emotion model
    3. Communication psychology
    4. Conflict management
Protection Against Manipulation
  1. Living with human givens (knowing one’s own needs, recognising emotional impulses, and learning how to navigate one’s inner world)
  2. Building an understanding of others
    • What motivates people at their core
    • What they strive for
    • How religion, ideology, or socialisation shapes behaviour
  3. Recognising and questioning one’s own radical tendencies early on
Preserving and Nurturing Innate Curiosity
  1. The relevance of history for the present
  2. Historical foundations of modern technology
  3. Political contexts in Germany and the world
  4. The interplay of economics and politics
Cultivating a Benevolent Character
  1. Understanding collective principles (categorical imperative, structure of society at local, national, and international level)
  2. Eudaimonia and the pursuit of meaning
  3. Different approaches from different cultures
Living a Good Life
  1. Stoicism and hedonism in the modern age
  2. Happiness and appreciating the present moment
  3. Life goals and plans
  4. Health for mind and body

To convey knowledge effectively, I primarily use collaborative methods that embed learning in a pleasant environment. This includes walks, museum visits, and other ways of engaging with big ideas.
